I’m curious. Are you making progress on the goals you set in January? Likely, you have either started on the path of bringing them to fruition or . . . you are stuck.

If you are struggling to make progress on your goals, they are probably the wrong goals and not pulling you into action in a way that compels you to make them a priority.

Try this:

Look at the goals you have slated for this year. If any have been carried over from last year, delete them. You did not want to accomplish them then and probably don’t want to this year either. Do yourself a favor and let them go.

For your remaining goals, ask yourself: What about this goal inspires me? How will my life or business improve if I accomplish this? If you don’t have good answers to those questions, get rid of those goals too.

If the goal is actually a task, designate it as such. Then, if possible, outsource it. If you are struggling with creating traction on your “goal” (that is actually a task), chances are someone else can do it better and faster. Release. Let it go.

Choose 2 or 3 big goals. List milestone goals beneath each. Make these your priority and dedicate some time to taking at least one small action towards them daily. Do not multi-task. Focus your mind, energy and heart on this, even if you only have 5 minutes. Doing so will make accomplishing your desired goals much easier.

One of the big things we will do in the LeaderThinking Mastermind is to get clear on the right goals and the right action steps to take towards them. No wasting time on uninspiring pretend goals that keep you playing small, not earning your full potential and working harder than you should.

If you want the kind of support that will help you go next-level fastertake a look here, apply, and then let’s have a conversation about how the Mastermind can support you and your goals for this year. February is almost over!

Take care,

Lakeshia
